Tim Duffy

Loopland Studios

Puerto Rico / NYC

Aussie born and raised by ocean, travel and learning obsessed parents, Tim has always lived within striking distance of the beach or the mountains. He has previously based himself in Canada, Switzerland, Austria, France, New Zealand and for many years New York and Montauk. His current venture is building an eco-friendly film studio by recycling a retired US naval base. The studio is part of a 500acre eco community development called Loopland, on the east coast of Puerto Rico. As a producer and writer for many years Tim created a Tribeca short documentary series finalist in 2018 profiling triple bottom line US businesses titled Purpose & Profit . In 2014 Tim co-wrote and produced the feature Drift (starring Sam Worthington) which received Aussie Oscar nominations for best original screenplay, cinematography and music composition. A feature documentary he produced, Let’s Talk About Sex (2010), is a light hearted but accurate expose’ of America’s mixed up religious based sex education system. Both Drift and Let’s Talk About Sex were released in cinemas (when we still had them) & VOD globally by Lionsgate and currently play on Amazon and TV networks around the world.
