Frederik is a PhD student in Finance at the University of Cologne. In his research, he mostly deals with risk and risk forecasting. He is interested in anything that helps to model reality, mostly topics in applied mathematics such as randomness and probability. This interest stems from the conception that such models help us to understand reality, thus allowing us to shape it. Apart from that, he enjoys sports climbing and bouldering.
